Welcome to Canstead Learning (“we”, “our”, or “us”), a division of Canstead Inc. and an Authorized Training Partner (ATP) of the Project Management Institute (PMI®). By accessing or using our training services, websites, learning materials, or communication tools, you agree to the following terms and policies.

1. General Disclaimer

  • Canstead Learning provides professional education and training services for individuals and organizations. We are an Authorized Training Partner (ATP) of PMI®, and we deliver PMP® certification training using official PMI-developed materials, facilitated by registered ATP Instructors.

  • Other preparatory courses we offer, including those for CFA®, FRM®, and Disciplined Agile certifications, are independently developed unless explicitly stated otherwise. All certification trademarks, logos, and names remain the property of their respective organizations.

  • We do not provide investment, legal, tax, or other professional advice unless specifically agreed in writing

2. Copyright and Intellectual Property

  • ​All content, materials, templates, slide decks, workbooks, and digital tools provided by Canstead Learning are the intellectual property of Canstead Inc. or its instructors unless otherwise noted. These materials are protected under Canadian, U.S., and international copyright laws.

  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our materials without express written permission.

3. Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected during course registration, inquiry, or participation is used solely for the purposes of enrollment, communication, service delivery, and regulatory compliance.​

  • We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. We may share data with instructors or third-party platforms (e.g., Zoom, LMS platforms) only to facilitate the delivery of our services.

4. Course Rescheduling, Cancellations, and Refunds

​Individual Learners:

​​

  • Rescheduling: Requests to reschedule must be submitted at least 7 days prior to the course start date. One reschedule is allowed per enrollment, subject to availability.

  • Cancellations: Cancellations made more than 14 days before the course start date are eligible for a full refund, minus processing fees. Cancellations made within 7–14 days are eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds for cancellations made less than 7 days before the course.

  • No Shows: No refunds or reschedules for no-shows unless due to documented emergencies.

 

Corporate Clients:
Group training sessions follow custom contract terms. Please refer to your Service Agreement for specific terms or contact your Canstead representative.

5. Customer Support & Dispute Resolution

We take your learning experience seriously. If you experience an issue with a course, instructor, materials, or administrative process: 

  1. Contact us at: admin@canstead.com

  2. Initial response time: Within 2 business days

  3. Resolution process: We will investigate the issue and offer a proposed resolution within 7 business days.

  4. Escalation: If unresolved, you may escalate to the Director of Programs for final review.

6. Use of Third-Party Platforms

Some training content may be delivered using third-party platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Drive, or LMS tools. By participating, you agree to abide by the terms of service of those platforms.

7. Training Outcomes and Disclaimers

While Canstead Learning provides PMI®-Authorized Exam Preparation and independently developed certification training, we do not guarantee exam success or professional designation. Certification outcomes depend on individual performance, preparation, and external testing bodies..

8. Certification Disclosures

  • PMP®, PMI-ACP®, DASM®, and DASSM® are registered marks of the Project Management Institute, Inc.

  • CFA® and Chartered Financial Analyst® are trademarks owned by CFA Institute.

  • FRM® is a trademark owned by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).

Canstead Learning is an Authorized Training Partner (ATP) of PMI®. All other courses are independently developed unless otherwise specified.

9. Limitation of Liability

Canstead Learning is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, materials, or content. Your use of our content is at your own risk.

10. Governing Law

This Legal Notice shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and applicable U.S. federal and state laws. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada, or New York, United States, as applicable.
